FROM THE PRINCIPAL

I would like to welcome you to the start of the 2009-2010 school year at Glenn Hills Comprehensive High School.  We at Glenn Hills High are committed to providing our students with the highest level of instruction in order to produce life-long learners who will be productive members of society.  We encourage parents and community members to become involved in this effort.  When parents are involved, students tend to work harder to be successful.  They may not verbalize it, but they are truly happy when they know that their parents and  community members are taking an active role in their educational process.
I invite you to visit classrooms to see what the students are learning.  Talk to their teachers so that you are aware of their strengths and their weaknesses.  If your child is experiencing difficulties, we have programs in place to help them.  After-school Academy and Credit Recovery are just two programs that have been implemented to keep our students on track.  If you have any questions or concerns, I urge you to contact me.
Remember, through the collaboration of parents, teachers, and community members, our children can be high achievers.

Dr. Wayne Frazier.
